Computer Programmers Only the 5th Most Sleep Deprived Profession
While this results are interesting, I would wish for a slightly more scientific approach.
Self-reporting sleep patterns don’t sound very precise. How can you self report on sleep accurately? As for programmers not sleeping much? The variation in statistics was small, very small.
As for myself, yeah, sometimes I overextend myself and then pay the price in next few days. Sometimes it is necessary. I couldn’t imagine how that doesn’t happen in every profession. You simply have to be careful not to repeat it too frequently.
