Kids and tech
Tech is not something that’s independent from the rest of things a functioning member of society is going to learn while growing up. Maybe we should not really think too much of the “tech” aspect at all and simply see at which stage of growing up certain types of gadgets become useful to a young person. That’s probably the right period to introduce them. Now how exactly and to which extent, that’s more challenging question.
Why parents should educate their kids about tech
How young is too young for a child to have a cell phone? With the average preschooler now more able to play video games than ride a bike or tie a shoe, and with three-quarters of all middle school- and high school-age kids already owning a phone, it’s an increasingly difficult question for today’s digital parent to answer.
