Predictions for 2012
In Vox.io house in SF late night debates are always interesting. Yesterday we were discussing what kind of tricks could big tech companies pull on each other by doing funky acquisitions. This came from reflecting on Posterous being acquired by Twitter.
Here are the top candidates for the rest of 2012:
- Apple buys Twitter
- Google buys Twitter
- Facebook buys Bing from Microsoft with its sharesw
The consensus was that Apple acquiring Twitter is the most probable of the list. Could they pull off deep integration of social into the iOS itself?
What do you think? Who will buy who this year?
